Chickpea Avocado, Yogurt Wrap

My goal as a Health Coach is to encourage my clients to consume more fiber ( grains, veggies, and fruits), protein (lean meat, legumes, and nuts) and bright color fruits in their diets. Chickpeas are high in fiber and protein. Also, can help with weight management, improving digestion, and reducing risk of some diseases. I enjoy creating new twist on popular recipes such as the famous Tik Tok Wrap!

Along with the Chickpea Avocado Recipe, I like to include a Dill Yogurt Sauce. Very simple!


Dill Yogurt Sauce

1 cup of whole fat plain yogurt

1 tablespoon of fresh chopped dill

1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon of onion powder

1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon of sea salt

1/4 teaspoon of black pepper


1 Ezekiel Grain Tortillas (Trader Joe’s)

Thin slice red onion or cucumber

Tomato Slice or cucumbers

Olive oil

Follow Chickpea Avocado recipe. I recommend chopping chickpeas separately so that their nice and textured. Mix ingredients together for yogurt sauce. Set aside. Place sliced onions on first corner of tortilla. 1 sliced tomato on second corner. Next add a spoon full of the yogurt sauce to third corner and two spoonful of the Chickpea Avocado to the last corner.

Cut a slit down the middle of half of the tortilla and begin folding the corners to meet the edge like a triangle.

Optional- Heat grill on medium high and add olive oil. Toast the wrap on both side until golden brown crust.
